The Proud Fox

I hope everyone is having a grand start to the new year! I am crazy-busy with comics, comics and more comics! It is now less than a month until Zita the Spacegirl arrives in stores. When I think about it I am nervous! ...So mostly I don’t think about it.

A few early copies of Zita went out over Christmas. A very cool highschool student named Gaelen wrote a little review. Gaelen is also pretty skilled with the legos.

Spring Rambles: I’ll be doing some traveling this spring and speaking at bookstores and libraries. Most of these engagements will be in April and May, but there is an early one coming up -I’ll be visiting Politics and Prose in Washington DC on February 17th at 10:30 am. If you’re in the area please feel free to stop by! I’ll post more about this and the other places I will be soon.

Finally, I don’t have a lot of new art to share at the moment so I’m going to once again post a bit of Angelica’s recent work. This is a tiny drawing of a proud fox that I found on the refrigerator.

I love how he is wearing a polo shirt with the collar up! How jaunty!

This fox had better make it into something. He is too awesome.

I hope you will make it to the Philadelphia area.

Does the fox have his eye on the henhouse? I see a story developing here.

I'm not sure what's up with the fox. Angelica's working on a story called "How Did You Do that?" that features "Star Chicken." Maybe he's in that story...

Sorry Tim -no plans for Philly yet! But it's possible!

Maybe the fox will try to eat "Star Chicken"! Oh no! How could he do such a thing?

I love it, and I like the review and legos. (The review) Makes me that much more excited to buy Zita the Spacegirl!
