Robot Comic #13

(newspaper format here.)

Spring is, I guess for obvious reasons, a particularly water color-y time of year.

Love the color on these ones, Ben! This poor robot just can't catch a break.

Just refueling your fusion generator little buddy!

Wow, congrats on the Eisner nom! :)

Yeah! I just found out thanks to Tim Canny! TIM WHERE WOULD I BE WITHOUT YOU?

Haha! I can't take all the credit. I owe a lot to my OCD about checking Twitter. I read a Vera Bee tweet about her nomination and wanted to see what other favorite artists made the list. Congratulations and I hope it leads to more opportunities and to more Zita sales.

Bill! You and your Ted Eidem awards!

You're ruffling my nerd-feathers.

Bill Powell said...

Hey, no ruffling intended. :) Seriously, it looks like a pretty cool award to get a nomination for.

Hey ruffle away my friend. I'm just excited that you're looking at my comics/blog.

It certainly makes me wish I could draw better.

Here is my robot with writers block:

Awww! I wish there could be a new robot comic every day too. But I'll keep posting them whenever I have little breaks and opportunities.

And Geronl, I guess when the writer's block ends the lightbulb lights up?

I guess that is too obvious. It also showed me that drawing is hard, although I used to be pretty good at it when I was a kid.
