True Dad Stories

So here's a little something I haven't done in awhile -a Journal Comic!

That's right. When you're a father of four and you get "special news" about your toothbrush you just gotta power on through. Save that problem for another day. A dad's life's not a Seinfeld episode.

In other news, we finally found the elusive Pontremoli Library and in said library I came across (and checked out) an excellent graphic novel adaptation of Saint-ExupĂ©ry’s The Little Prince. It's in italian but it looks like an English version is available.

LOL! I never did that, but I did routinely dump out my dad's briefcase full of the tools he used to work on electron microscopes. Bless him, he thought it was funny.

What makes this comic is the shape of Julia's mouth in panel 5. That's true to life, for one thing, and for another, it speaks volumes. It's the "Isn't this great daddy you and me sharing isn't life great did you know I am a little clara ballerina and life is great?" Life IS great. Time for a new toothbrush.

Ha ha, yeah. And you know, I've discovered that Julia is SO FUN TO DRAW.
