More Travels

Hello my Bloggy Friends.

My apologies for the long silence. I'm currently visiting my family in Lafayette, Indiana and drawing comics on the very same desk on which I failed all my algebra homework.

Here-s an update for anyone in the Chicago area: I will be talking and signing books tomorrow evening at Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville, IL at 7pm. Come by and say hello!

I don't suppose you'll be coming anywhere closer to say... North Dakota?

I'd definitely come say hi if I could. I suppose typing shall have to suffice for the time being.

Not the first time I wished that I lived in St. Charles, IL instead of St. Charles, MO. Ha-ha-ha! Five hours is just a little far away to take off in the afternoon for... Maybe next time!

Hope the family is well, and you all are staying dry with all the storms that have been blowing through this week!

Ben, if you're driving, it'd be great if you could stop our place in Ohio! Hope all is well.

Oh, hey, I'll be in Virginia and playing at the Irish Isle on May 27th. Mark your calendar, and tell the usual suspects, as well as the unusual suspects.

It was great to meet you at Anderson's Bookshop. Thanks for telling Zita's story. My students and I look forward to book 2.

ciao! Ieri a Roma vi ho pensato davanti al tuo amico John Paul II. È stata una meravigliosa giornata.
Buona settimana a tutti!

Hi Ben, how is everyone there? And Ronia? Is she growing well? Are you all coming over to Gravagna this summer? Saluti a tutta la famiglia. Daniela.

Lafayette? And we're so close (Indy)! Me, my So, and my 7-year-old girl cannot wait for September 4th and Zita's upcoming adventures. I follow a few girl-power groups on Facebook (Pigtail Pals and Baseball Buddies, Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood, A Mighty Girl) and I mention Zita whenever I get the chance. Keep on creating, please, Mr. Hatke.

I have no plans to stop creating Tonya! I'll also be sure to post about the next time I'm headed out to Indiana (hopefully before too long).

So glad you're enjoying the ZIta books. Right now I'm working hard on the third volume which has a lot of action.

Oh and thanks for letting me know about those FB groups!
