It's been awhile since I've participated in Illustration Friday. I missed last week's theme, "caged," but the theme for this week, "stargazing" seemed just as appropriate. So here's a little Zita the Spacegirl mini illustration I've been meaning to color for some time.

MOVIE RECOMMENDATION: Patrick Stewart plus David Tennant equals BEST HAMLET EVER. Anna and I started watching this last night and this version is an absolute blast. Stewart (who plays both Claudius and the ghost) is of course most famous for playing Federation Starship Captain Jean Luc Piccard, and Tennant (Hamlet) made his mark with his wonderfully manic portrayal of the Tenth Doctor. Watching them together in this film is a reminder that Shakespearian acting is what they were both weaned on.
(though of course this will forever be my favorite Patrick Stewart Performance)
